Installing from a CD

Boomi Software can provide CDs that contains the installation files for the Boomi Integration Platform. The CD will contain all the installation files for the target platform, and will be created using a format that is readable on most platforms.

1. Insert the CD media into drive.
2. Open or Mount the drive, refer to your Operating System documentation on how to access the CD drive.
3. Open and read the Release Notes file on the CD using a text editor.
4. Locate the Install.htm file on the CD media and open this file in a Web Browser. The InstallAnywhere Web Installer© browser window opens and recommends the machine platform.
5. Click the Start Installer for <Operating System> button OR Click the Download link for the appropriate platform in the Available Installers section of the window. Choose Open or Execute file to begin the installer.
   
6. Wait as InstallAnywhere© extracts files and prepares the Boomi Integration Platform for installation.
